Author name: Jay Hunter

Born and raised in Rural Florida, Jay Hunter developed a passion for the outdoors at an early age, hunting and exploring the state’s diverse landscapes. Over the course of 26 years, his career took him through some of the country’s most prestigious AAA Four and Five Diamond resorts—culminating in recognition at the James Beard House in 2017—yet his entrepreneurial spirit and love for nature remained the driving forces behind every step of his journey. An avid outdoorsman, Jay holds a Part 107 Remote Pilot’s License and an Aerial Wildlife Management (AWM) Permit from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. These credentials not only highlight his dedication to responsible land stewardship and conservation, but also enable him to offer unique wildlife management and aerial services that set this venture apart. Today, Jay combines his proven business acumen, decades of ranch experience, and deep respect for the outdoors to build a company that celebrates adventure, community, and sustainability. Looking ahead, he envisions this new chapter as a way to fuse his passion for the outdoors with innovative experiences and services—inviting others to join in the excitement, share in the responsibility of land management, and help grow a legacy that honors the natural world he cherishes.
