Jay Hunter

Born and raised in Rural Florida, Jay Hunter developed a passion for the outdoors at an early age, hunting and exploring the state’s diverse landscapes. Over the course of 26 years, his career took him through some of the country’s most prestigious AAA Four and Five Diamond resorts—culminating in recognition at the James Beard House in 2017—yet his entrepreneurial spirit and love for nature remained the driving forces behind every step of his journey.
An avid outdoorsman, Jay holds a Part 107 Remote Pilot’s License and an Aerial Wildlife Management (AWM) Permit from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department. These credentials not only highlight his dedication to responsible land stewardship and conservation, but also enable him to offer unique wildlife management and aerial services that set this venture apart.
Today, Jay combines his proven business acumen, decades of ranch experience, and deep respect for the outdoors to build a company that celebrates adventure, community, and sustainability. Looking ahead, he envisions this new chapter as a way to fuse his passion for the outdoors with innovative experiences and services—inviting others to join in the excitement, share in the responsibility of land management, and help grow a legacy that honors the natural world he cherishes.
Gentry Wright

Originally from Midland, Texas, Gentry Wright spent six years in the oil industry before turning his attention to land stewardship and wildlife management. Drawn by a passion for the outdoors and a love of hunting, Gentry moved to Marble Falls, where he gained valuable hands-on experience managing whitetail, exotic game, and cattle on large ranches. His dedication to responsible land use and sustainable practices led him to excel in creating thriving habitats for both wildlife and livestock.
Today, Gentry serves as a Project Manager for Kerby Ventures, a land development group that shares his vision for innovative property management and conservation. In partnering with Sky Hunter TX, he’s excited to highlight the advantages of drone surveys—an efficient, data-driven method that provides landowners with crucial insights for optimizing their resources. Looking ahead, Gentry remains committed to helping clients navigate the intersection of technology, ecology, and responsible ranching, ensuring Texas’s natural beauty endures for generations to come.
Kole Zimmerman

A native of Marble Falls, Texas; Kole Zimmerman has spent the last 16 years immersed in exotic game ranches, assisting landowners with everything from herd management to day-to-day operations. His hands-on approach, combined with a deep-rooted passion for hunting and the outdoors, has led him to become an authority on land and wildlife management.
Whether he’s helping to maintain optimal habitat conditions or advising on strategic game population plans, Kole believes in responsible stewardship that benefits both wildlife and the land itself. As an avid outdoorsman, he’s dedicated to sustaining healthy ecosystems and ensuring that future generations can enjoy the same natural wonders he cherishes.
In his role as Field Technician | Wildlife Expert, Kole brings a wealth of practical experience, a keen understanding of local species, and a commitment to ethical hunting and conservation practices. He looks forward to supporting landowners in realizing their ranch’s full potential, all while preserving the integrity of Texas’s unique landscapes.
